Bloggiesta is a blogging marathon revolving around ticking off those items on your to-do list and improving your blog while in the good company of other awesome bloggers doing the same thing. Our awesome mascot Pedro (Plan. Edit. Develop. Review. Organize) is ready to break out the nachos, enchiladas, drinks, mariachi music and whack a piñata or two! It’s nothing short of an awesome fiesta!
- From the Bloggiesta team
This edition of Bloggiesta is 4 days long and runs March 27th – March 30th. Here’s what I hope to accomplish:
Update review index. Update my reading challenge progress page. Get my Month in Review post for March completed and scheduled. Write up my Bookish Wants & Gots post for April. Participate in all 4 #Bloggiesta Twitter chats.
- Look into a different Share widget.
Try out a sticky navigation menu. Change favicon. Try centering sidebar gadget titles and see if I like it. Write up and schedule the next Write On review-a-thon sign up post and wrap-up posts. Make button for next review-a-thon. Check out the new batch of Bloggiesta mini-challenges. Check out at least 10 other Bloggiesta participant lists and cheer them on.
- Format and schedule future Thursday Thirteen posts.
Try out image roll over effect. Submit a sitemap to Google and Bing.
- Try changing the ‘read more’ prompt.
- Go through old posts and fix acronyms.
Add social media links to Contact page. Format upcoming reviews. Change Pinterest avatar. Schedule tweets for Bloggiesta and reading challenges. Clean out my back up email inbox. Find/Create a FB group for book bloggers. Create more Pinterest boards and pin more of my content. Update review-a-thon page.
If you’re participating in this edition of Bloggiesta, link up your starting line post in the comments so I can cheer you on.
