Thursday Thirteen: 13 Websites I love (Book Related and Otherwise)

Thursday Thirteen

Thursday Thirteen is a weekly meme with a simple theme: each Thursday you blog a list of 13 things. What kind of things? Any kind! Just come up with a list theme and run with it.

 Brianna’s List:

  1. Amazon. I’m always on the prowl for Kindle deals and freebies.
  2. Goodreads.
  3. Mashable.
  4. PicMonkey.
  5. Hootsuite.
  6. Twitter.
  7. YouTube. There are some channels I watch religiously. I also love listening to music and watching DWTS clips (since the ABC app is being a bitch and won’t let me watch because Directv isn’t a ‘listed provider’.)
  8. My library. Prowling for books.
  9. Facebook. I’ve started to become more active on my TBV persona Facebook account thanks to the Blogger’s Resource group.
  10. NetGalley. Prowling for books.
  11. Fitbit.
  12. Evernote. It’s becoming an obsession.
  13. Blogging sites (too many to list). This could be a Thursday Thirteen list all on its own.

J9’s List:

  1. Goodreads.
  2. Twitter.
  3. Amazon.
  4. NetGalley.
  5. Hotwire (for all my travel needs).
  6. Author websites so I can sign up for newsletters for insider info.
  7. New York Times so I don't feel so far from home.
  8. a feminist response to pop culture website.
  9. for all my running questions, new workouts and good food ideas.
  10. and for my independent, unbiased news.
  11. because they have a buy 10-get-1 deal that I love (and exploit).
  12. The Book Vixen, duh!
  13. Google because I couldn't do sh!t without it.

What are some of your favorite sites, book related or otherwise?

  1. I couldn't so shit without Google either! And Twitter - I'm getting there. Baby steps.

    Awesome list(s) :-)

    1. We'll make a Twitter junkie outta you yet! ;)

    2. Twitter gets to be addicting. I love it.

  2. Goodreads, facebook, bloglovin are my daily used sites. Off to check some of these others out.

    1. Facebook is my enemy so I haven't had an account (other than my 2 jobs' FB pages) for years. I should check out bloglovin, I don't know that one.

    2. Bloglovin does the same thing Feedlydoes, it's a feed reader.
