Last week I showed you before and after pictures of my TBR bookcase. Today I’m showing you my READ Bookcase. Let’s start from the top.
Top shelf. Yeah, not much changed. Notice the screwdriver and screws that don’t belong (near the word ‘before’).
2nd shelf. A miniature Christmas stocking. A storage compartment. A rainbow loom bracelet. A plastic bag with I don’t know what in it. What is this stuff doing on my bookshelf?? I also had giveaway books just placed haphazardly on the shelf.
3rd shelf. More junk, like my tape recorder, crib installation packet, and a notebook. Again, what is this stuff doing here?? Note that there are TWO rows of books in the before picture, and just one in the after picture.
4th shelf. Not much difference but neater.
Bottom shelf. Again, not a big difference but neater.
I re-cataloged everything on Goodreads. I also purged some books that I no longer wanted to keep. All in all, I got rid of about 100 print books from both of my bookcases. Next week I’ll give you the breakdown on how many books I got rid of (including ebooks because yes, I got rid of some of those as well) and I’ll show you pictures of my purge pile. Stay tuned!
And in case you missed it, last week I posted pictures from the Spring Cleaning of my TBR bookcase.
