A SHADOW IN THE WINDOW.

Nia Hollister doesn’t scare easily. Come hell or high water, she intends to find her cousin’s killer. She returns to Ash, Kentucky, for answers. What she doesn’t expect is to ache with desire every time she sees Law Reilly. If any man can help her escape the nightmares for a while, it’s him. But can she allow herself to take comfort in those strong arms when a murderer still roams free?

Unknown to Nia, as she quietly slips into Law Reilly’s home, is that she’s being watched—by someone who is waiting for an opportunity to strike.

Timing is everything, though he can’t wait forever. If she’s not frightened, she soon will be. Nia has made a vow to find her cousin’s killer. She should be careful what she wishes for.

Why I Read this Book: To find out who the killer is!

What I Liked: I was dying to know who the killer was. After reading the first book (my review), I had a guess as to whom the killer was - a pretty damn good guess. Hell, I was damn sure I knew who the killer was until the end of the second book (my review), which completely dismissed my idea. When I started reading If You Know Her, I had absolutely no freakin’ idea who the killer was. None. But I had a feeling that whoever it was, was going to shock the hell out of me and it did.

I loved Law Reilly’s character. He’s a great guy; the kind of guy you want in your life - whether as a friend or as your partner in life. I’m glad he got a HEA of his own. Speaking of, Nia’s a little ball of fire. That woman has determination and perseverance! And she’s smart too.

This last book was the most suspenseful and had me on the edge of my seat. And because there’s a mystery to solve, I was beyond thrilled that all three books were released back to back. Thank you for not making me wait A YEAR in between releases.

What I Didn’t Like: The Jennings were a bit hard to keep track of – there were just so many damn many of them!

Overall Impression: If you’re in the mood for a dark, haunting, and chilling romantic suspense read then I highly recommend The Ash trilogy. But I have to warn you: have all three books on hand before you begin reading because once you start, you won’t want to put it down until you find out who the killer is. And that little mystery spans across all three novels.

  3. I've not read any of the books - I was waiting for them all to be released so that I didn't have to wait to know who the killer is! What can I say, I'm not the kind that can wait on that kind of information!
