Month in Review: October 2012

The Book Vixen's Month in Review

This is the part of the year that whizzes right by, at least for me. It’s like once Halloween passes, it’s Thanksgiving and before you know there goes Christmas and New Years. Whoa! Speaking of Halloween, I’m still on my chocolate ban (I’m down 12 lbs. so far!) but I may have had a candy or two. Or three. Don’t tell anyone, okay?

Oh and it’s November! You know what that means, right? 15 more days until this:

I love the part at the 2:04 mark. Are you going to be at a midnight showing? I think I’m just going to wait for the Blu-Ray DVD to come out.

I have found an iOS app that supports GTalk. It’s called IMO and it’s free. Now I can chat with J9 without clogging up her inbox. Loves!

We’ve got something new coming tomorrow! Be sure to come back and check it out.

  1. Halloween candy was the death of any inclination of a diet I was on. I am appalled that I let the bowl run empty last night and turned off the lights, even though I had one stashed bag of mini milky ways left in the cupboard.

I'm new to blogging, so drop by and leave some hints for success! http://readingaddicted.blogspot.com

    1. That's exactly why I buy candy I don't like. Otherwise I'd eat it all. LOL

  2. I'm with you Tanya, I have a love-hate relationship with all the "snack" size candy bars! They're so small they have to be calorie free, right--RIGHT?! :)

TBV had a great October and the IMO is a great way for us to keep in touch!

    1. I like that theory - snack sized candy bars being so small they have to be calorie free :D

  3. I can't quite get myself to finish Forbidden by Jacquelyn Frank, so I'm glad that apparently, I'm not the only one who wasn't madly in love with the story. (Though I still have to read your review. Don't want to get myself spoiled just now.)

Also, congratulations on your weight-loss! I've started to work out a few weeks ago and have to admit that the last two weeks were the worst. Didn't do anything. XD So you actually motivated me to get my butt up. Thank you! :)

    1. I haven't started exercising yet. Not sure what, exactly, I'm waiting for. I'm just not ready yet. LOL Right now, it's just chocolate weight I'm losing.
