Month in Review: December 2012

The Book Vixen's Month in Review

I have Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell on the mind. I just started watching Prison Break (I’m on Season 4) and I am hooked! So hooked, I haven’t been reading. How have I not watched this show until now? Must. Finish. Watching. And now I want to read books with a similar flavor. So if you know of any (must have a romance), please do let me know.

I am glad the holidays are over. They were fun but it’s nice to get back to the normal everyday life. But with a new year upon us, there are usually resolutions that come with it. I resolve to give up chocolate (crazy, I know). I also have a few reading goals for this year: read 100 books, read 24 books from my TBR pile, and read 12 freebies from my TBR pile. I missed my goal to read 100 books in 2012 and I was a sad panda. Do you make new year resolutions?

  1. PRISON BREAK!! AHHH! I was obsessed with that show when it first aired! I'm curious to know what you will think of the ending episode. I'll just leave it at that! Good luck with all your challenges!

    1. I am completely obsessed with the show too. I'm half way thru the fourth season. I'm afraid of what's to come because I've heard that people were not happy with the way the show ends. Eek!

  2. Prison Break... loved it when it was on. Miss watching hunky Dominic Purcell. ;-)
    Happy new year!

  3. I loved watching Prison Break when it was on.... yummy brother sandwich!! HA!

Happy New Year, hope it's full of amazing books for you to read.

  4. Author Jennifer Lane LOVES Prison Break and modeled her character, Grant Madsen, after Wentworth. You should read her CONduct series! It's great romantic suspense!

    1. Are you for reals? I have heard of that series but I definitely need to read it now.

  5. I sent you an email about my Natasha Blackthorne win. Thank you so much for hosting her. :) I sure have found a lot of new to me authors through your blog.

I haven't watched Prison Break but must look into it. From what y'all say it is a must see. I have been hooked on Sons Of Anarchy. OMG, Jax leaves me drooling!
